Thanks for this comprehensive understanding of AGI and its potential, both for good and bad effect. However, this is still clearly from a human-centric standpoint: what if Nature is using human abilities to create the next new species in its evolutionary journey? A new species that transcends the physical-chemical beings called organic life. A new inorganic life form if you please, combining AGI, robots and maybe even a few organic components for good measure (3D-printed organs for example).
